THE BRAVE AUSSIE MUM HASN'T SEEN HER CHILDREN IN SEVEN YEARS
SALLY FAULKNER 'I still want MY BABIES TO COME HOME’

Almost 3000 days have passed since Sally Faulkner last held her two eldest children in her arms.

In events that many Australians no doubt still remember, Sally’s kids Lahela and Noah were taken by their father to Lebanon in 2016. Thankfully, Zoom calls and video messages have kept the mum going, with Sally explaining they are all “slowly getting to know each other again”.

“I’m exchanging videos (just a few so far) with Lahela and Noah,” Sally shared on Instagram.

While Sally prefers keeping Lahela and Noah’s videos private and offline, she has told her followers “they are just gorgeous and seeing their beautiful little faces and hearing their voices after so long brings me so much happiness.

“But at the same time, the grief and trauma of what has been lost is still there with every moment and I’m not sure it’s ever going away.

“I still want my babies to come home … to hold them, kiss them, care for them. To be their mum, the one they come to for comfort.”
